Ratings explained
Ok, lets talk little bit about how I rate metal albums and what all those stars really mean.Ratings are from 1 to 5 stars. There are also half points so album can get 3 and a half stars. For example:
Rating:

Lets start with one star
Rating:

Complete garbage. Record not worth listening, buying or even thinking about it.
Rating:

Same as one star but there is only one track on the album that will not hurt your ears (in a bad way). For die hard fans only.
Rating:

is a record that I would NOT like to own, but there is a one or two tracks that are listenable and has at least good production.
Rating:

Not really a good record, but has one or two tracks that will rock your world, but album as a whole is not that great.
Rating:

Is just your average metal album. Nothing original, no fanfares but most of the CD space is not wasted. You’re free to own it at your own risk.
Rating:

We already getting close to a solid record. More then 50% of the album rocks really good and you would not get embarrassed showing this to a metal academic.
Rating:

This is a solid rock monument of a record. This is already serious business. More then 70% of the album is comprised of great flesh melting metal. Gotta own it.
Rating:

A hair short of masterpiece. Not a bad track on the album but maybe production is bad or lyrics are kind of cheesy, but music absolutely rocks. Good example of this would be Priest’s Painkiller. Cheesy lyrics but music is metal perfection.
Rating:

Absolute masterpiece. Cannot be bad track on the album. Record has to shine musically as well as lyrically. Every piece of band has to perform at their best. This is the one you’ll get embarrass if you DON’T own it.
If you’re going to write a review or an article ( and I really hope you do) please try to conform to this rating system for consistency.
